You will serve as a Lead Business Operations Specialist in the Centralized Coordination Department of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will manage the overall aspect of your assigned capability establishment team and assigned programs; negotiate with customer for timeline/status updates, production schedule updates, and facilities/equipment requirements, as appropriate.
You will coordinate projected short term induction schedule and long term maximum projected schedule for production, based on customer demand, and ensure material and staffing demands are in place prior to declaration of capability.
You will work with the Comptroller group to monitor budget plan, track deviations, and drive reductions in production overhead costs.
You will serves as the customer interface for workload with Navy Supply, TYCOMs, Engine Motor Board, Military Inter/Intra-service, Public Private Partnership and FMS customers.
You will effectively manage both internal and external communication with, and between, all FRC East customers including commercial parties, associated (OEM's), Program Managers, Inter/Intra-service customers, USG agencies and HQ/COMFRC activities.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience: 1) Understanding complex industrial/production operating environment and the management processes associated with planning, directing, controlling, and monitoring procedures required to effectively manage and evaluate logistics and maintenance policy program areas; 2) Comprehensive knowledge of Office of Management and Budget (OMB), DOD, and Service logistics policies, procedures and guidelines and their relationship to the depot maintenance function; 3) Thorough knowledge of the functions, structures, and hierarchy of COMFRC, DOD, Navy, NAVAIR, NAVSUP, other SYSCOM, and other Service Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) and maintenance support activities; 4) Meeting and effectively communicating and negotiating with higher level management; 5)Thorough knowledge of policies, procedures and guidelines for negotiating and accepting workload; 6) Broad knowledge of the field of ILS management practices, methods and techniques of logistics systems and various logistics elements; 7) Understanding of project management, engineering and logistics support as it pertains to capabilities and internal processing procedures; 8) Preparing and making oral and written presentations to effectively report progress.
