You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FACILITY SUPPORT CONTRACT MANAGER in the PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL FAC ENGINEERING CMD WASH.

Duties

You will analyze contract funding reports to evaluate request for contract modifications and change in orders. You will inspect completed contract work to identify deficiencies that require correction. You will administer work assignments to personnel to achieve the goals of the command. You will oversee administration of contracts to ensure work is completed in accordance with specifications.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.

  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Acting as a Government representative in interpreting contract clauses for negotiation modification and task orders, 2) Ensuring employees are provided awareness training in Facilities Contracts, safety, protection of government owned property and Employee Equal Opportunity policies and programs to evaluation employee performance, 3) Preparing correspondence regarding contractor performance and schedule to ensure adherence with fair labor practices, 4) Ensuring that findings are available for contractors performance, and; 5) Utilizing computer and applicable software (i.e. Micosoft Excel, word, Project management and Power Point to prepare reports for cost estimates and maintenance schedules.
