Serves as a program/project manager for the FAA Logistics Center Supply Support Group, to include management of programs and projects related to the support of Program Management Office and Technical Operations, and Supply Support Group Special programs and projects, which may also include elements for program/project status reporting modules, budget/business planning, strategic planning, tactical delivery, and reporting to monitor and ensure the health and success of projects/programs.

Duties

The employee will perform multiple, varying, and complex assignments under the minimal direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional and may act as a contributing specialist on large work activities or as a project manager with program/project management leadership for complex and long-term activities.

Qualifications

TO QUALIFY AT THE I (GS/FG-13) level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-H (GS/FG-12) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes providing program/project management leadership for complex and long-term activities, providing continuous monitoring and communications regarding programs and projects status with regards to delivery to schedule, performance, and financial requirements of written agreements and/or experience with project management principles for Site Services programs utilizing commercial software tools for management and reporting.In addition to the above qualifications, the following has been determined to be a Quality Ranking Factor. This means applicants who possess this factor are considered to be Well-Qualified.Quality Ranking Factor (QRF): Well Qualified candidates will possess a project management certification (e.g., CAPM, PMP, PgMP, PMI-SP, PMI-RMP) or certifications through other federal agencies (e.g., FAA P/PM, DAWIA) and will have experience with the automated systems used for logistics management.
