You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the BUSINESS OPERATIONS DIVISION of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.

Duties

You will serve as a Financial Team Lead monitoring and guiding the budget team in managing projects and the division's overall financial execution. You will provide training on multiple actions such as budget estimates, justifications and presenting budgets for a variety of customers. You will work with the budget team, test officers, Division and Branch managers to conduct resource planning and Statement of Work development. You will notify the Division Manager of any budget/execution discrepancies in planned vs. actual financial execution. You will provide detailed expenditure reports to external as well as internal customers.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing program requirements to develop budgets and monitor the execution of funds for an organization.
