You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the Project Office of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
Duties
You will oversee logistics efforts among all of the elements of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS).
You will oversee the development of a yearly budget for assigned systems ILS requirements.
You will serve as the singular point of contact regarding problems or questions on initial, interim, and follow-on supply support policy and procedures for assigned systems.
You will review readiness statistics and other key system performance indicators from all available sources.
You will provide guidance and direction to the team to ensure that the Supply Support Logistics Element Manager (LEM) on the Intergrated Executive Committee is properly developed.
You will plan and oversee comprehensive studies and reviews.
You will provide local administrative supervision, and plan and assign work to subordinates based on priorities.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing Logistics Management Specialist work directly related to Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) disciplines, policies, and procedures (provisioning, overall program support management, logistic data maintenance, etc.). I have experience with various management functions such as procurement, manpower, HAZMAT processes, time management, correspondence, and warehousing duties. I have experience performing the duties of a supervisor to include work prioritization, employee advisement/guidance, planning, assigning and assessing work performed by subordinates. I am able to communicate extremely well both orally and in writing. Specialized experience must include all or most of the following duties; 1) Applying a mastery knowledge of management principles and techniques, personnel policies and procedures, supervisory and managerial skills; 2) Analyzing a number of conflicting variables in order to make decisions to improve organizational success; 3) Determining, negotiating, and finalizing support matters while coordinating with Headquarter commands domestic and international; 4) Understanding a variety of plans and strategies used to effectively and efficiently support Building Partner Capacity; 5) Applying a knowledge of transportation modes and methods/policies and regulations for shipment of materials.
