You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Logistics Support Department of NAVSEALOGCENKYPTDIVNUWC MECH PA in Mechanicsburg, PA.
Duties
You will delegate managerial authority for planning and determining implementation of goals and objectives of a program segment.
You will assign and direct work; sets objectives, and evaluates work performed by subordinates and resolves work problems.
You will provide logistics support in the areas of logistics management, engineering, delivery systems and Integrated Logistics Support, with an emphasis on supply management (outfitting and materials management).
You will formulate goals and objectives, plans, and evaluates programs and implements changes to achieve effective and economic operations and organization structures.
You will communicate effectively to influence decision making.
You will provide acquisition and life cycle management support used for ships and shipyard install systems and equipment.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level or pay band (NT-04 or GS-11/12 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing integrated logistics operations and analyzing issues or problems to develop resolutions that may include operations' processes or procedures to support Combat or Weapon Systems.
