Duties
The primary purpose of the position is to ensure that the administrative needs of NSA Chief, Employee Family Morale, Welfare and Recreation (EMWS) are met.
Coordinates personnel actions with the staff and provides liaison with the CPAC to resolve related issues and problems. Advises EMWS personnel on a variety of substantive, procedural, and policy matters pertaining to personnel functions.
Oversees a variety of general administrative duties performed in support of the DFMWR involving performance management, records management, civilian pay issues, Congressional, FOIA and monitoring EEO plans, policies and goals.
Plans and completes special projects and assignments.
Responsible for performing, providing, obtaining, and/or advising on a variety of management and program support services essential to the direction and efficient operation of the Directorate.

- Appointment is subject to successful completion and ability to maintain a favorable Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) and/or polygraph examination to determine suitability for this position.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain access to National Security Agency facilities and networks. Incumbent may be subject to polygraph testing and must meet NSA personnel security requirements as outlined in NSA/CSS Policy.
- Mandatory completion of annual government/job related training.
- Test Designated Position: In accordance with NSA Policy and Executive Order 12564 this position is subject to random drug testing as a condition of employment.
- Work schedule Mon-Fri 0800-1600.
Qualifications
Qualification Requirements:
1.Demonstrated knowledge of overall mission, functions, organization, objectives, procedures and their relationship to the administrative support activities of the DFMWR. Knowledge of pertinent laws, policies, procedures and regulations pertaining to Human Resource Management. Skill and ability to apply qualitative and/or qualitative analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations and substantive administrative support functions.
2. Ability in organizing and delivering briefings to managers/supervisors to encourage understanding and acceptance of findings and recommendations.
3. Comprehensive oral communication skills and analytical writing skills.4. Knowledge of a variety of data management systems.
Highly Preferred: Applicants that possess the above qualifications and the highly preferred criteria may be sent first for consideration.
Must possess six (6) months' of progressively responsible experience using various HR Information Systems to include but not limited to; USA Staffing, Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS), MyBiz+, Employee Management, Processing & Recruitment System (EMPReS) or equivalent.
