You will serve as a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER in the FLEET READINESS CENTER MID ATLANTIC, VOYAGE REPAIR TEAM(VRT) DEPARTMENT of FLTREADCEN DET MID ATLANTIC PAX RIVER.
Duties
You will manage large inventories of parts and material for Naval overhaul and repair.
You will read prints, specifications, and other documents to coordinate and answer supply inquiries.
You will verify appropriate documentation and screening parts and material against discrepant listings
You will demonstrate general housekeeping practices and have experience in organizing and maintaining large storeroom locations.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties:
Ensuring the availability of all parts, material, and information required to complete scheduled work and ensure materials and assets are received on time;
Leading Quality Assurance checks to maintain the integrity of the inventory database and properly documenting the removal or issuance of material;
Analyzing the impact of engineering changes and rework and repairs to improve product quality and/or facilitate production;
Providing status reports, daily feedback, and resolve schedule or resource conflicts; and
Documenting all material and component inventory and keeping track of all transaction receipts or issue data annotated on receipts/invoices.
