You will serve as a Supervisory Production Controller in the MAINTENANCE EXECUTION DIVISION, EXPEDITIONARY MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT of SOUTHEAST REG MAINTENANCE CTR SERMC.

Duties

You will direct the brokering, validation and screening of maintenance level work providing mission support to the fleet You will oversee the Maintenance Execution Team (MET) program. You will use financial skills and competencies to forecast multiyear repair material and parts funding for LCS classes of ships throughout the phases of operational and maintenance life cycles. You will manage funds for maintenance efforts and material procurement for production department product families and associated product lines.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience analyzing complex data and providing working level briefs and presentations. Thorough knowledgeable of Maintenance and Material Management (3M) qualifications and processes. Knowledge of the function and principles of LEAN Process Improvement. In depth knowledge of the Preventive Maintenance System (PMS) process and MRC scheduling requirements to include periodicities and Technical Feedback Reports. Experience applying concepts and analytical methodologies for process improvement for effective resource utilization and budget allocation. Extensive practical knowledge of engineering testing concepts, principles, practices, and techniques in reference to shipboard systems and equipment covering HM&E, Combat Systems, Auxiliary, and other major and minor support systems for multiple ship and class types.
