About the Position: This position supports the lease acquisition and management of Real Estate for various Leasing Programs of real estate including, but not limited to, Housing, Support for Others and Installation Support inleasing. Incumbent works under the general supervision of the Chief, of the Acquisition Branch.
Duties
Direct the activities of subordinates in support of lease acquisition and management.
Supervises all aspects of the work of the organization supervised.
Maintains liaison with various customers at intermediate levels and Headquarters.
Presents Programs briefings on regular basis.
Reviews market surveys to determine most economical and suitable sites.
Assures priorities are clearly identified and funded to assure mission success.
Plans and organizes current and out-year program resourcing requirements and determines general policies, technical requirements, and methods of accomplishing the mission.
Reviews complex leases, licenses, and permits for Military and Civil customers for technical sufficiency.
Coordinates with GSA and customer on leasing project.s
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Travel may be required up to 25% of the time.
- This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes; (1) Performing leasing activities with other government agencies such as General Services Administration (GSA); (2) Balancing and maintaining staff workload and ensuring timely execution of a real estate business line; (3) Negotiating commercial leases, licenses, and permits. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
