About the Position: This vacancy exists within the office of the PEO CS&CSS. Positions will be specifically located in the PEO CS&CSS Force Projection. However, the referral list generated by this announcement may be used to fill future vacancies in the PEO CS&CSS & PEO GCS, with duty locations at Warren, MI and/or Selfridge, MI.

Duties

Serves as senior staff manager for program management for a major military vehicle or weapon system technology development program. Develops plans and objectives for assigned systems/programs. Identifies areas needing emphasis and exercises leadership to ensure programmed system and subsystem time, cost and performance schedules are accurately established and met. Provides technical guidance for consideration. Rolls plans up into total program, including schedules for the obligation and expenditure of funds to support program milestones. Makes formal and informal presentations outlining the history, current status, and objectives of functional responsibilities. Represents the PEO/PM at high level conferences. Plans and directs the work of supporting personnel.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.
• This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel away from your permanent duty station requirement of up to 10% of the time.
• This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
• Selectee must meet position requirements for practitioner certification in (K) Business - Finacial Management within 60 months as of entrance on duty.
• This position requires FM CERTIFICATION LEVEL 2 (FMC02). Selectees must obtain Level 2 certification in the Department of Defense Financial Management program within 24 months of entrance on duty.

The definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-02 (or GS-11 equivalent).
