You will serve as a Human Resources Specialist (Military) in the Personnel Administration Center (PAC) of H & S BATTALION.
Duties
You will be responsible for designing, developing, or revising military Human Resources policies, procedures and guidelines for use throughout the organization.
You will serve as a senior advisor to the director of Personnel Administration Center.
You will be responsible for implementing and integrating new programs and developing new training syllabuses, concepts, principles, standards, methods and establishment of personnel administrative inspection programs.
You will conduct on site reviews of military personnel actions or cases for a wide range of occupational areas.
You will track legal reports for pending administrative discharge.
You will identify areas where automation can effectively eliminate labor intensive manual Human Resource process and system.
Requirements

Qualifications
GS-11:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing master Military Human Resources support and technical expertise on active functions as well as providing continuity in a dynamic environment. Serving as an authoritative administrative and technical source the input of personnel data for all individuals unit. Managing and processing inactive and enlisted personnel actions to include separations, retirements, promotions and continuing eligibility.
GS-09:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: in assisting in providing technical advice on active functions as well as providing continuity in a dynamic environment. Serving as an authoritative administrative and technical source for the input of personnel data for all individuals and units assigned within the Administrative Reporting Unit Code (ARUC). Managing and processing inactive and enlisted personnel actions to include separations, retirements, promotions, and continuing eligibility.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-11:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
GS-09:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
