You will serve as a T Specialist (SYSTEMS ANALYSIS) of NAVSUP BUSINESS SYSTEMS CENTER OMN.

Duties

You will serve as a senior Subject Matter Expert/System Analyst for highly complex IT Systems consisting of complex and integrated business systems. You will be responsible for functional, system analysis and subject matter expert duties on complex IT system. You will ensure effective customer/user engagement on requirement gathering, user testing (IV and V) etc You will ensure high level of customer satisfaction. You will work with technical team to ensure high quality value delivery for the IT products and services to the customer. You will effectively escalate complaint and issues. You will track customer environment changes and technical trends. You will receive work requests (new development, maintenance, or customer generated) and conducts in-depth studies of requests.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: One year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: 1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. In addition, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following: 1) Performing system analysis/business analysis and SME work on complex IT system 2) Maintaining functional aspects of entire business areas, IT systems, applications, and operations; 3) Delivering high quality IT product and service delivery to end users 4) Ensuring customer satisfaction through direct customer and end user engagement and partnership in support of IT Services/product 5) Collaborating with IT/development team and mentoring junior system analysts 6) Leveraging IT tools and technologies such as SQL/TOAD/SQL developer etc 7) Providing recommendations to the senior leadership on customer engagement and technical trends 8) Planning and execution of feasibility studies of entire or portions of entire, proposed projects/IT systems.
