About the Position: This position is located at Evans Army Community Hospital, Fort Carson, Colorado Springs, CO.
Duties
Develops element goals and objectives that integrate organizational planning into the Medical Treatment Facilities (MTF) overall vision.
Budget support and government purchase card holder duties
Provide medical standards guidance policy interpretation and application to health care professionals and medical support staff.
Administrative support to include monitoring performance and productivity of staff, systems utilization, and clerical support.
Coordinates and monitors preparation of Defense Medical Human Resource System.
Retrieves, monitors, and analyzes data from automated systems.
Assist clinic leader to meet standards established by Joint Commission Standards.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccine and is therefore subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations

In order to qualify, you must meet the requirements described below. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience which includes: documented experience which demonstrates the experience to
1). Managing a health care delivery system and the requirements to effectively manage the department; 2). Provide qualitative and quantitative data on which to make decisions regarding Patient's services; 3). Utilizes personnel management policies and procedures to carry out the scope of a health care delivery system responsibilities; This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D. with a major study in hospital administration, public health administration, or related fields such as business or public administration with course work in health care administration. Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
