You will serve as a Human Resources Specialist (Classification) in the office of the Director, Civilian Human Resources (DCHR), Code N00CP, Commander Navy Reserve Force (COMNAVRESFOR) of an Echelon II Department of Navy (DON) major command.

Duties

You will provide classification, position management, and organizational analysis program management services. You will provide a full range of management advisory services to COMNAVRESFOR managers and employees. You will provide both Echelon II-level program administration services and day-to-day HR advisory and operational services relating to position classification and position management. You will perform a variety of workforce planning and analysis functions. You will access, develop, and analyze a variety of workforce-related reports using such automated systems as HR Link, Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS), and the Total Workforce Management System (TWMS). You will provide technical leadership, guidance, and oversight to lower level staff members to carry out assigned program operational and advisory services.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final SECRET security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing a full range of services relating to position classification, position management, and organizational analysis programs. Experience providing management advisory services for a variety of complex issues relating to these program areas. Experience conducting position management studies and organizational analysis to ensure sound and consistent position management and organizational alignment practices. Experience providing technical leadership, guidance and oversight to lower level staff members to carry out assigned program operational and advisory services.
