About the Position: This position is located at the U S Army Military Police School Dir of Plans and Operations Training Support Division at Ft Leonard Wood, MO. Ft Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Missouri Ozarks. The Fort is in Pulaski County, Mo. Bordering the installation to the North are Waynesville/St. Robert and I 44. St. Louis is a 2hr. drive to the East along I-44 and Springfield is a little more than an hour's drive to the West of Ft Leonard Wood.
Duties
Provide managers with objectively based information for making decisions on budget, supply and programmatic aspects of US Army Military Police School (USAMPS) and 14th Military Police Brigade operations and management.
Conduct management surveys and or research projects and provides advisory services on procedural and relationship issues that deal with readily observable program conditions.
Utilize a computer terminal with word processing, data base management, graphics, electronic mail, electronic spreadsheets; enter, revise, and retrieve data and calculate numeric data.
Write and publish administrative type directives as related to budget, travel card program, DTS, etc. for use by all personnel of USAMPS incorporating procedures required by higher headquarters.
Assist in maintaining and fielding the site, constant monitoring of the Defense Travel System, making necessary corrections when needed, and providing direct response to the local Help Desk.
Requirements
- A Secret Clearance is required for this position.
- Incumbent of this position is required to submit annually a confidential financial disclosure report, OGE 450, in accordance with DoD 5500.75.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes managing a budget, documenting monthly status of funds, managing a travel card system such as Defense Travel System, and serving as a billing official.
OR
Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Accounting, Business Management or Financial Management. OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
