Duties

You will be responsible for tracking personnel actions. You will provide guidance to managers and supervisors to make informed decisions relative to personnel issues. You will perform required research in order to draft position descriptions. You will ensure progress reviews, interim appraisals and final evaluations are accurately completed in a timely manner. You will establish procedures to ensure compliance with human resource policies. You will ensure award expenditures are monitored, tracked and reported accurately. At the GS-07 level you will perform duties as they are assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications

GS 07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience performing analytical and evaluative methods and techniques for assessing program development or execution and improving organizational effectiveness and efficiency equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following: 1) Extracting data from various databases to create reports 2) Performing research to balance accounts and labor costs; and 3) Following prescribed procedures to cross check and verify process to ensure integrity of payroll system and time and attendance data GS 09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience performing analytical and evaluative methods and techniques for assessing program development or execution and improving organizational effectiveness and efficiency equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following: 1) Assisting in developing performance indicators and performance work statements; 2) Performing research to draft position descriptions; 3) Assisting with drafting and updating internal human resources policy directives; 4) Tracking and reporting actual expenditures and expense for both fiscal year and monthly by pay period and 5) Performing cross checks and verification process to ensure integrity of payroll system and time and attendance data Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:General Schedule Qualification Standards (opm.gov) Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Education

In lieu of experience you may substitute experience for education:

GS 07: 1 full year of graduate level education OR bachelor's degree demonstrating superior academic achievement.

GS 09: Master's or equivalent graduate degree OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.B. or J.D., if related
