About the Position: Serves as a Human Resources Specialist and expert of personnel workforce management programs with the Office of the Chief of Staff, Army (OCSA), to include support provided to Field Operating Agencies, Staff Support Agencies, and other OCSA-supported agencies. Located in Arlington, VA.
Duties
Interpret regulations for human resources management directives.
Participates in the interpretation, development, implementation and administration of a variety of staff assignments in various military and civilian human resources program areas.
Develop solutions to a wide range of human resources and military personnel management issues.
Monitor personnel accountability on automated personnel management systems.
Draft decision papers and memorandums requesting changes to existing policies.
Analyze current human resources support operations for the organization.

Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes providing technical advice and/or guidance regarding a wide variety of military and/or civilian human resources programs; assisting in publishing award orders and/or certificates within current organizational regulations; providing manpower utilization data to agency decision makers; and determining personnel staffing priorities for the organization. This specialized experience is equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
