About the Position: Serves as a Human Resources Specialist and expert of personnel workforce management programs with the Office of the Chief of Staff, Army (OCSA), to include support provided to Field Operating Agencies, Staff Support Agencies, and other OCSA-supported agencies. Located in Arlington, VA.

Duties

Interpret regulations for human resources management directives. Participates in the interpretation, development, implementation and administration of a variety of staff assignments in various military and civilian human resources program areas. Develop solutions to a wide range of human resources and military personnel management issues. Monitor personnel accountability on automated personnel management systems. Draft decision papers and memorandums requesting changes to existing policies. Analyze current human resources support operations for the organization.

This specialized experience is equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: CommunicationsHuman Resources ManagementManpower & Personnel Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
