You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
Duties
You will evaluate/ensure the provisioning process for new equipment entering the inventory is accurate and completed on time.
You will ensure the data integrity for the organization's assigned weapons systems and takes the lead to get inaccuracies corrected.
You will oversee, evaluate, and coordinate supply support for assigned systems and platforms.
You will adjust budget and logistics plans to accommodate for unforeseen developments.
You will coordinate and manage projects, programs and procedures to optimize support of assigned weapon systems and platforms.
You will develop and maintain milestones and performance statistics for optimum weapon support and ILS management sufficient to provide information required to brief officials on the current ILS status of assigned systems/equipment.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating knowledge of the full range of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) program management, development, and weapons systems support.
Examples of specialized experience include:
1) Providing management control, oversight, guidance, support, and corrective actions when evaluating the effectiveness of the organization's programs and supply support functions for life cycle management of assigned weapons systems and platforms;
2) Overseeing all related functions of supply support and evaluating and ensuring for new equipment entering the inventory is accurate and completed on time;
3) Ensuring the execution for the full range of inventory management duties for assigned material, including inventory replenishment, budgeting/Financial and Logistics Integrated Requirements Report (FLIRR), Buy/Repair, Outfitting requirements determination, demand forecasting, order fulfillment, material distribution and material disposal;
4) Establishing quality review of objectives and standards for the organization's responsibilities and taking corrective action when the quality and standards are not being met by assigned personnel;
5) Providing the technical expertise, leadership, and teaming to mentor, train, develop and assist teammates to ensure that all applicable supply support teammates are successfully executing the mission.
