This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Expert Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA OC/OPS & INFRASTRUCTURE CENTER (OC).
Duties
Establishes guidelines and performance expectations for subordinate employees, which are clearly communicated through the formal employee performance management system.
Performs full range of supervisory personnel management responsibilities, such as signing, reviewing, and approving work; establishing organizational priorities; performing short and long-range planning; and evaluating work performance.
Serves as a senior analyst and program manager responsible for the overall management, control, coordination, and execution of projects and programs in support of OIC business line management decisions.
Analyzes and implements OIC corporate decisions relative to changes in agency policies, new legal guidance, laws, and regulations in the development of products, in order to support the many complex and varied programs contained within the Center.
Evaluates the impact of special projects on policies, expected trends, and Agency/Center budgets and schedules. Recommends actions to the OIC management team and develops business plans for implementation based on project management principles.

Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-15, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience performing administrative/management functions: to include reviewing, approving, and evaluating work; performing short and long-range planning; and analyzing and implementing agency policies, laws, and regulations in support of assigned projects and programs..
