You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST of SURFCOMSYSTRNCMD HAMPTON ROADS LS. Salary Range for GS-07 level: $47,273 - $61,454 Salary Range for GS-09 level: $57,824 - $75,168

Duties

You will have knowledge and skilled in utilizing conventional and established training methods, techniques and tools in order to design and develop training courses and materials. You will evaluate training programs, lead and complete special projects and implement program and procedural changes and process improvements. You will have knowledge of Department of Defense, Navy and Navy Education and Training as they relate to curriculum, training support and evaluation programs. You will have skills in utilizing multiple training evaluation programs tools, databases and programs to monitor training program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements. You will have knowledge of and skill in utilizing Authoring Instructional Materials, Content Planning Module/Learning Object Module authoring tools software. You will have knowledge of Corporate Enterprise Training Activity Resource System (CETARs) program and various training support databases used to update course materials. complete whole or new courses of instruction, changes or course revisions.

Qualifications

GS-09 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing conventional and established training methods, techniques and tools in order to design and develop training courses and materials, evaluate training programs, lead and complete special projects and implement program and procedural changes and process improvements; (2) Utilizing Department of Defense, Navy and Navy Education and Training as they relate to curriculum, training support and evaluation programs and skilled in utilizing multiple training evaluation programs tools, databases and programs to monitor training program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements; and (3) Applying knowledge of and skill in utilizing Authoring Instructional Materials, Content Planning Module/Learning Object Module authoring tools software, Corporate Enterprise Training Activity Resource System (CETARs) program and various training support databases used to update course materials to include complete whole or new courses of instruction, changes or course revisions. GS-07 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Having knowledge of conventional and established training methods, techniques and tools in order to design and develop training courses and materials, evaluate training programs, and/complete special projects; (2) Providing assistance with Department of Defense, Navy and Navy Education and Training as they relate to curriculum, training support and evaluation programs; and (3) Understanding the Authoring Instructional Materials, Content Planning Module/Learning Object Module authoring tools software and of Corporate Enterprise Training Activity Resource System (CETARs) program.
