You will serve as a Supervisory Training Specialist in the CHIEF OF STAFF/FLAG ADMIN (N01), FIANCIAL MGMT & PROG PLAN DEPT (N03) of CDR STRIKE FORCE TRNG ATLANTIC.
Duties
You will act as the principal assistant to the Exercise Director.
You will develop and refine tactical/operational level Navy Tactical Tasks (NTAs) to assess training audience.
You will plan, develop, resource, implement, direct, and recommend courses of action for training to the Exercise Director.
You will manage and direct exercise schedules.
You will develop, coordinate, disseminate and supervise the execution of training resources.
You will operate training facilities.
You will coordinate, execute, supervise, and manage the training conferences and competitions.
You will plan, resource, direct, monitor, and evaluate on-site training provided to US, Joint, Coalition, and Allied military forces, including civilians and contractors, as directed.
You will interact with Joint Staff, Department of Defense, OPNAV and various Naval Training and Education Organizations, Joint Services, and internal CSG4 training support elements.
You will assist with managing a variety of standing working groups and planning syndicates with overall budgeting goals and objectives.

- This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is considered Key/Non-Combat Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support of the expeditionary requirements in other than combat or combat support situations.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- Must be willing to travel as an essential component of serving as the Assistant Exercise Director, including time served onboard sailing in support of command tasking, or attending meetings and conferences in support of the command's mission.
- This position is mission critical.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following;
Experience developing and executing multi-year projects, maintaining long range schedules and strategies that support budgetary inputs to improve fleet readiness.
Experience developing requirements, conducting analysis, planning, organizing, and supervising the implementation of the Training Programs.
Experience leading, supervising, motivating and counseling employees in training/fleet readiness.
Extensive experience and in-depth knowledge analyzing/evaluating, interpreting, or developing training strategy and policy issues.
Experience developing and tailoring exercise design in order to support Joint integrated exercises.
Experience making decisions and recommendations with regard to developing Carrier Strike Group, FOUR training strategy and policy.
Experience articulating views, findings, and training policy recommendations in writing, oral presentations, and formal briefings to senior officers and civilians (Flag/General Officers, SES, and 0-6/GS-15 level).
