About the Position: Office is located in stand alone office building separate from the main Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) (but within walking distance). Normal duty hours are 0700-1630 but start and end times are flexible. Lunches are either 30 or 60 minutes. This position is very important to ensuring our man hour data will provide higher level management in deciding to maintain, increase or decrease our staffing.
Duties
Produce system generated reports specific to medical personnel utilization and medical expense data.
Utilize Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) for the preparation of documents, charts and graphs
Collect, report, and process man-hour data.
Conduct statistical gathering methods used to analyze data (averages, standard deviation, and trend analysis).
Prepare and present briefings.
Develop written guidance and training sessions and briefings.
Review agency operations in order to ensure proper accountability of resources.
Conduct management studies on mission organization, functions and work processes.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes reviewing agency operations in order to ensure proper accountability of resources. Conducting fact finding and statistical gathering methods in relation to man-hour reporting and identifying organizational deficits. Analyze trends and perform data comparisons using automated systems that support medical expenses, performance reporting, and patient cost accounting.
Education: Successful completion of a masters or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as Business Administration, Business Management, Human Resources. Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of by 60. Add the two percentages.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
