This position is part of the Defense Human Resources Activity. The incumbent will be responsible for Defense Human Resources Agency's mission is to provide program support, information management, and administrative services to the DoD Components on human resource matters and to collect, archive, and provide management information, research, and analysis of human resources and other related functional area databases for the DoD.
Duties
As a IT PROJECT MANAGER (SYSTEM ANALYSIS) at the GS-2210-13 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Develops, modifies, or provides input to project plans.
Implements project plans to meet objectives.
Manages, leads, or administers project resources as well as monitoring project activities and resources to mitigate risk.
Analyzes information systems requirements or environment.
Designs or conducts analytical studies, cost-benefit analyses, or other research.
Ensures emerging technologies and their applications to business processes in designing, developing, and managing systems that meet current and future business requirements and enhance, or optimize the existing project.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the
GS-12 grade level in the Federal service:
Develops Information Technology applications to ensure the integration of IT programs and services.
Analyzes information systems requirements or environment.
Determines appropriate products or services with clients or customers to define IT project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
In addition to meeting qualifications, your application package must reflect the applicable experience to meet the Individual Occupational Requirements for the 2210 series.

Status candidates must meet time-in-grade requirements (52 weeks at the next lower grade level).
