About the Position: Serves as a Management Analyst with responsibility for performing the full range of management analysis. These duties include conducting comprehensive studies of work/management systems and a variety of management projects with objectives to improve these systems, programs and projects through increased economy and efficiency of operation, and establish requirements determine manpower requirements through the use of system techniques.
Duties
Prepare and brief results of special studies and/or reviews.
Develops and manages customer feedback initiatives and systems to document and evaluate results of productivity and quality management programs.
Develops Senior Level Briefings, reports and plans and executes VIP visits.
Review, evaluate, analyze and prepare manpower portion of resources management documents.
Provides a systematic and codified methodology that facilitates business transformation (organizational change), cost management, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Ensures strategic planning evaluation/assessments adequately and effectively address and measure key customer and operational requirements.
Conduct comprehensive studies of work/management systems.
Conduct cost and economic analysis of current or projected systems, programs and projects, including life cycle cost analysis.
Measures and evaluates organizational performance against baseline standards.
Investigate and evaluate new or improved business or management practice to determine the most effective and efficient use of resources for accomplishing the mission.
Review new issues, arrange possible options, and analyze pros and cons of each to determine effects on current or projected operations.
Serves as team member or independent analyst for staff projects and initiatives submitted from sources throughout DOD that impact all organizational levels.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes reviewing and analyzing organizational performances in areas such as reviewing data input or data reporting against performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of operations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-11 or above.
