You will serve as a Supervisory Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Maintenance Planning Department, Configuration and Distribution of NAVSEALOGCENKYPTDIVNUWC MECH PA.

Duties

You will staff, develop, and manage a unit composed of technical and administrative personnel. You will plan, organize, and direct/lead work efforts, providing training as required. You will coordinate efforts with program sponsors and customers, In-Service Engineering Agents, and NAVSEA Logistics Center (NSLC) managers to organize work. You will perform personnel management functions to include Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO). You will manage projects and serve as point of contact for program officials and other NSLC managers and to provide both technical and administrative guidance and advice.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
  • You will be required to maintain a Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Certification Level II.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/12 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing program management oversight or support to a ship or shore-based maintenance and repair facility or program. Examples of Qualifying Experience may include setting priorities, developing schedules or assigning resources for maintenance or repair program; resolving equipment maintenance and technological conflicts; determining unique equipment requirements and specifications for ship or shore-based repairs.
