This position is part of the Defense Human Resources Activity. The incumbent will be responsible for Defense Human Resources Agency's mission is to provide program support, information management, and administrative services to the DoD Components on human resource matters and to collect, archive, and provide management information, research, and analysis of human resources and other related functional area databases for the DoD.
Duties
As a IT SPECIALIST (ENTARCH/NETWORK) at the GS-2210-14/15 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Delegated authority to oversee the planning, direction, operations, maintenance, sustainment, and execution of the Program and support applications for DMDC IT systems.
Responsible for providing guidance, oversight, installation,migration, configuration of Windows, Linux, and database systems adhering to security standards in DMDC's multi cloud environment.
Assist DHRA organization centers/offices to migrate business systems to the cloud, configuring cloud infrastructure components like security services and networking and help support
implementing applications and databases for the cloud, and monitoring data storage services and cloud management.
Responsible for providing cloud requirements and implementation briefing to division director(s) of DMDC and CTO office that would include developing Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE).
Drives adoption of emerging technologies, re-envisioning existing technology and future use cases, development of network architectures, configuration management, and production support
Develops or customizes technology strategies as new requirements emerge, to include creation and customizing network architectures, creation and customizing of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for new technologies (e.g. Cloud Native Services), creation and customizing of implementation plans for next generation deployment strategy, and creation and customizing enterprise DevSecOps implementation.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-14, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service:
Leading a transition from organic data centers to various cloud solutions, for example Oracle Cloud, AWS.
Managing Hybrid Cloud Solutions such as(Oracle, AWS)
Guiding, leading and directing Program Management of IT programs and services
You may qualify at the GS-15, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service:
Makes work decisions to resolve complex problems pending from lower levels;
Develops advanced IT theories, principles, concepts, methods, standards, and practices in order to lead, plan and execute long and short-range IT requirements.
Managing Hybrid Cloud Solutions such as(Oracle, AWS)
