You will serve as a Program Analyst in the IT Performance Management & Assessment Division,CNSSC FLD DET MECH PA.

Duties

You will be working with Navy Fleet and System Command supply chain stakeholders/users to ensure Navy maritime and aviation requirements are integrated and met. You will coordinate efforts with Navy Fleet, Navy Systems Commands and NAVSUP Business Process Owners and other key Customers/Users/Stakeholders to promote business re-engineering improvements related to assigned programs. You will support the execution of plans during the systems lifecycle and develops programmatic changes to ensure key milestones are maintained and achieved. You will assist in determining resource requirements, establishing priorities and ensuring business requirements are met while continually leading improvements for the Navy Supply Chain solutions. You will help determine NAVSUP strategy and future requirements for Navy and legacy systems and interfaces, and make long-term recommendations for supply chain solutions. You will coordinate with government and contractor teams supporting the assigned systems.

  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • This position requires occasional travel.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying a wide range of management principles, theories and qualitative and quantitative methods for assessment and improvement of Information Technology (IT) programs and complex IT systems in a supply chain management environment. In addition, Also having experience in work that requires coordinating efforts with Business Process Owners and key Customers/Users/Stakeholders to promote business re-engineering improvements in policies, plans, process, procedures, techniques and user experience related to assigned IT programs. Examples of specialized experience may include: 1) Developing programmatic change recommendations to business processes and related IT systems to ensure key milestones are maintained and achieved; 2) Analyzing the best business, technical, maintenance/sustainment and transition approaches for those systems which facilitate meeting strategic goals as it related to applicable business processes and related IT systems; 3) Participating in the coordination and execution of plans during life-cycle sustainment of business processes and related IT systems; and/or 4) Analyzing, evaluating, developing and promoting improvements in policies, plans, methods, procedures, systems, or techniques related to the effective and efficient operation and sustainment of assigned IT/IT related program.
