You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Military Sealift Command of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.
Duties
You will provide assistance and oversight of multiple divisional Program and Project Managers involved in budgetary planning and programming, financial execution, procurements, and administration of contracts within the C4 Directorate.
You will provide analyses using a wide range or qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness or the improvement of complex management processes and systems.
You will support the Acquisition and Financial Management Branch in assessing, and implementing investment and fiscal policies, procedures and reporting
You will will be responsible for the management, oversight and completion of acquisition management analyses, tasks and projects.
You will serves on team projects and tasks to analyze and provide recommendations to N6 program and project managers for procurement and contract actions supporting requirements planning and execution.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require overtime work.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience analyzing procurements and contract requirements from initiation to execution.
Experience managing IT contracts and performing necessary analyses to ensure appropriate clauses and performance metrics are included in the contracts, and ensuring IT capabilities are delivered in accordance with the specifics of the contract.
Experience utilizing financial management systems that accumulates and reports financial data for MSC in addition to providing support for fund and obligation control and budget execution.
Experience demonstrating and utilizing contract administration policies and procedures; monitoring contractor performance, ensuring proper interpretation of requirements and compliance by both contractor and government personnel.
