About the Position: The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) develops and delivers responsive aviation, missile and calibration materiel readiness to the U.S. Army. We believe in "Mission First, People Always" to enable the synchronized aviation, missile and calibration materiel enterprises. The position is located within US Army Aviation and Missile Command AMCOM, G8 (Resource Management) Resource Integration Branch; however, multiple vacancies maybe filled using this announcement.

Duties

Provide expert level technical advice and management advisory services to project managers, program managers, and upper management on all aspects of procurement. Develop contract support documents in order to assist in resolving problems that arise during the performance of the contracts. Perform the initial planning necessary to conduct management evaluations of procurement programs for compliance with procurement policies and regulations. Recommend solutions to substantive, complex problems and potential problem areas that have impact on plans, programs, schedules, and deliveries. Coordinate with technical and specialized personnel and contracting personnel in formulating plans and specific acquisitions. Provide a viable contracting approach for meeting program needs and established objectives for impact on future procurements.

Requirements

• The incumbent of this position is required to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• The incumbent of this position is required to submit pre-employment financial statement disclosure (OGE Form450) and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
• Incumbent is required to travel away from the duty station (TDY) on multiple overnight trips up to 5% of the time.
• Incumbent must possess, obtain and maintain Foundation Level Acquisition Certification in Contracting Professional within 36 months of entrance on duty
