You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the G-8 DIVISION, PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT BRANCH ofMARFORCOM NORFOLK.

Duties

You will serve as the subject matter expert for the Program and Budget Information database. You will develop and maintain databases and web-based systems. You will extract data from the Programming, Budgeting and Documentation database to develop substantiating and analysis to support the mission. You will perform assessments of major Marine Corps program and budget initiatives. You will conduct studies and program analyses involving major mission requirements. You will manage multiple programs and provide input to the POM process.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conduct cost analysis and financial corrective recommendations in support of programs and operations for a command.
