You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the I-LEVEL MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT of CDR NAVY REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CMD. Commander, Navy Regional Maintenance Center (CNRMC) provides oversight, direction, and management of the Regional Maintenance Center (RMC) engaged in the repair, maintenance and modernization of U.S. Navy Ships.

Duties

You will serve as the Deputy Production Department Head; responsible for assisting with the efficient and effective management of all Production Department missions, functions, and tasks. You will develop policy and provide recommendations to the Department Head on I-level production, Regional Repair Centers (RRCs), I-level strategic development and organizational structure. You will provide oversight for Strategic Development for effective utilization and continuous improvement of the Production Department's resources, processes and procedures in support of Command's and Regional Maintenance Center's (RMC?s) mission. You will be responsible for management oversight for the Product Family of common I-level processes, reports, and metrics across all RMCs. You will develop recommendations based upon reviews and data collected to enhance the organizational structure, production work, and the overall efficiency and effectiveness of I-level maintenance in the Regional Maintenance Center Enterprise. You will lead Fleet Maintenance Activity Assessment( FMAA) audits of all Production Functional Areas and provide analysis of I-level maintenance processes, procedures of the RMC Enterprise. You will present findings, best practices, and effectiveness evaluation results during formal Fleet Maintenance Activity Assessment (FMAA) briefings.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 pay band (or GS-11 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector evaluating analytical studies, data, metrics or production reporting to identify deficiencies and recommend improvements for a ship repair, maintenance, or modernization program.
