You will serve as a Supervisory Supply Management Specialist in the Hazardous Property Branch, Hampton Roads Division, Supply Management Department of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER NORFOLK.
Duties
You will serve as the deputy branch director.
You will ensure all applicable state, federal and local environmental regulations are being followed.
You will ensure material is delivered to customers in a timely manner, and track the procurement of high priority items.
You will lead studies and analysis of workflow processes, business cases and development of new projects.
You will analyze financial requirements for functions and services provided including both historical data and projected customer's needs, programs, and budgets.
You will prepare proposals to potential customers and explain services offered and pricing.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Supply Management Specialist specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying knowledge and skill in supply management and Hazardous Materials field concepts, principles, practices and the laws, rules, regulations and policies at the federal, state, local and Navy level in order to identify requirements, resolve conflicts in the work environment, and explain the Hazardous Materials program concepts during regulatory and oversight visits. I have experience planning work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work. Examples of specialized experience may include the following: 1) Communicates written and orally in order to prepare and present recommendations and solutions regarding issues based on analysis and evaluation; 2) Manages the receipt, stow and issue of material and ensure it's delivered in a timely manner to support customers; 3) Leads studies and analysis of workflow processes and the development of new projects in achieving continuous improvement of existing services; 4) Prepares proposals to potential customers and explains pricing as well as services offered; 5) Provides positive leadership and strategic guidance to the Hazardous Material teams; and 6) Ensures command and Department goals, policies and priorities are communicated to team members with promoting equal opportunity employment.
