You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
Duties
You will manage inventory for assigned systems/programs.
You will determine stock location of material based on individual knowledge of the items and weapons system support requirements.
You will validate customer requirements to insure proper configuration and/or shipboard /shore-base support in accordance with authorized allowance model.
You will review procurement actions and ensure that PSICP requirements computations are dependable in
requirements review board presentations, audits and reviews.
You will initiate procurement and repair recommendations using Navy ERP or other automated tools and determine stock location of material based on individual knowledge of the items /weapons system support requirements.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
GS-11: I have one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as;
1) Performing services related to ILS elements other than Supply Support, and/or Serves on non- program related policy committees for the development of new processes;
2) Monitoring repair programs for assigned systems/equipment/platforms to promote fleet readiness and meet command goals in areas such as RTAT reduction and "G" condition management;
3) Ensuring data base integrity for assigned systems/equipment/platforms;
4) Reviewing procurement actions and ensures that PSICP requirements computations are dependable in requirements review board presentations, audits and reviews.
GS: 12 I have one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as;
1) Developing material spares and repair requirements using mathematical models to attain system/equipment/platform availability;
2) Analyzing computed support levels to determine that the planned sparing meets operational goals within the approved funding envelope;
3) Monitoring and controlling progress to ensure timely and quality delivery of supply ILS element inputs;
4) Determining feasibility of satisfying requisitions from alternative sources (rework, cannibalization, substitute item, organic manufacture, next higher assembly, etc.) when RFI assets are unavailable.
