The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Senior Advisor, Financial Ops & Business Transformation responsible for leading financial systems modernization and business process reengineering/transformation.
Location Negotiable After Selection at one of three sites: Wright-Patterson AFB, OH; Joint Base San Antonio, TX; or Joint Base Andrews, MD.

- Position is designated as a Testing Designated Position (TDP). Position requires the incumbent sign a Drug Testing letter and pass urinalysis testing prior to appointment.
- Must have or be able to obtain a TOP SECRET/SCI Special Sensitive Security clearance
- PROBATIONARY PERIOD. An individual's initial SL career appointment becomes final only after the individual successfully completes a 1-year probationary period.

Qualifications
Eligibility will be based upon a clear showing the applicant has training, education and experience of the scope and quality sufficient to effectively carry-out the duties of the position. Candidates must exemplify the corporate perspective, leadership vision, broad experience and character needed in the Civilian Senior Executive Service corps not only to satisfy the immediate vacancy, but future vacancies which will occur in a variety of organizations, functions and locations.
A. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Education Requirement: A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is desired. A master's or advanced degree in a business-related field is highly desirable.
2. Certification Requirements: Financial Management Level III Certification must be achieved within 24 months per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, Section 1599d.
B. MANDATORY TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS (NTE 2 Pages per MTQ): A supplemental statement must be submitted separately addressing each TQ. TQs must provide specific examples that address relevant experience and accomplishments. Applicants should focus on recent experience, education, and training, as some Recruitment Panel members may consider experience that's over 10 years old to be outdated. Applicants must reflect superior technical qualifications demonstrated through leadership and management in the following:
1. Skills and experience performing Business Process Reengineering
2. Demonstrated ability to oversee complex financial management and accounting programs and implementation of a major financial management system(s) for a government or business entity.
Education
There is no positive education requirement for this position; however, a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is desired. A master's or advanced degree from an accredited institution is highly desired. An undergraduate technical degree or an advanced degree in either a technical or management field is highly desired.
