You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
Duties
You will manage ILS platform management during total ship class construction and projects assigned by program office.
You will use creative and critical thinking to facilitate, develop, and collaborate with other activities to find logical solutions to complex ILS problems.
You will ensure the accuracy of configuration data by managing the completion of provisioning projects and monitor the program for transition of configuration control to Configuration Data Mangers (CDM).
You will actively participate in Integrated Planning Teams (IDT), working groups, and continuous process improvement projects leading to improvement of shipboard logistics support.
Requirements

Qualifications
GS-12: I have one year of logistics management specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing an expert knowledge of advanced concepts, principles and practices in the application of a broad field of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) management principles to a wide variety of difficult and complex ILS projects related to support of ships. Examples of specialzied experience include: 1) Participates in Integrated Planning Teams (IDT), working groups, and continuous process improvement projects leading to improvement of shipboard logistics support; 2) Manage ILS platform management during total ship class construction and projects assigned by program office; 3) Use creative and critical thinking to facilitate, develop, and collaborate with other activities to find logical solutions to complex ILS problems related to the support of ships; and 4) Develop and revise existing navy supply polices.
GS-11: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing a knowledge of concepts, principles and practices in the application of a broad field of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) management principles to a wide variety of ILS projects related to support of ships. Examples of specialzied experience include: 1) Participates in Integrated Planning Teams (IDT), working groups, and continuous process improvement projects leading to improvement of shipboard logistics support; 2) Assist in the management of ILS platform management during total ship class construction and projects assigned by program office; 3) Collaborate with other activities to find logical solutions to complex ILS problems related to the support of ships.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-11:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
