You will serve as the head of the Business Operations Office for the Department's overall administrative management, financial management, property management, and contracts administration of Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Rhode Island (NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV NEWPORT RI).

Duties

You will plan and assign work to be accomplished, set performance standards and goals, and resolve work problems, additionally, approve leave, and make recommendations to higher level supervisors concerning personnel matters. You will be accountable for the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) Certification Program and Enterprise eCRAFT (e2). You will support internal and external audit functions to include the Procurement Surveillance Program (PSP) and Inspector General (IG) audits or inspections. You will provide financial support for all department projects including, but not limited to, project planning, monitoring and reporting. You will be accountable for all department issues related to the tracking of material procurements, Inventory Management/Warehouse Management (IM/WM), and asset management.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/12 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing analytical planning and management of department business operations (e.g., metrics) to ensure health of the organization or develop business/strategic plans. Examples of Qualifying Experience may include generating and utilizing data for decision making at the senior executive level; assessing overall health of the organization using Division Newport business tools; responding to competing requirements and managing a diverse set of complex tasks simultaneously; demonstrated understanding and knowledge of NUWC, Warfare Centers, NAVSEA, and NAVY acquisition processes.
