About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the US ARMY INTELLIGENCE AND SECURITY CMD OFFICE OF THE DIRECTOR OF SUPPORT COMMAND SERVICES OFFICE FORT BELVOIR, VA.

Duties

Serves as a Program Manager in the Command Services Office (CSO), Program Management Branch, responsible for management of operational requirements and their development for multiple programs valued over $10M in support of the $2B+ INSCOM enterprise. Provides acquisition advice to RAs in execution of acquisition package development and in performance as a member of a Multi-Functional Integrated Project Team (MFIPT). Serves as the operational manager for requirements package development and management, of the service acquisitions requirements process, ranging from the validation of a requirement until the service is no longer required. Reviews program acquisition documents generated in the requirements process for adequacy and ensure acquisition timelines and milestones are monitored and reported on actions above $10M.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a T5 (or equivalent level) investigation with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
  • TDY may be required 25% or more of the time.
  • All INSCOM employees may be subject to extended TDY or worldwide deployments during crises to perform mission essential functions as determined by management.
  • Per DODI 5000.66, employees must meet Program Management Practitioner Certification within 5 years of hire date.
