You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Directorate Ship Management (N03), Service SPT (PM4), Service SPT (PM43) of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.
Duties
You will Designs studies to analyze ship maintenance data to ensure that maintenance schedules are adhered to.
You will develop analytical criteria to assess the Command?s maritime and management issues associated with the operation, safety, and administration of a fleet of PM43.
You will oversee and manage maintenance on the Military Sealift Command (MSC) worldwide PM43 fleet.
You will represent the PM43 Program Office at meetings, interfacing with regulatory officials, MSC staff, owner?s representatives, acquisition personnel, contracting staff, fleet personnel, and AFP/Program sponsors.
You will be responsible for interfacing with the Military Sealift Command financial system (nERP) to conduct the program's business.
You will interact with financial systems and department to execute program operations.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience reviewing and tracking planning efforts of all short and long range work plans, lifecycle sustainment, class alterations/modernization initiatives, maintenance budgets and schedules for implementing maintenance and repair plans on vessels.
Experience negotiating effectively with management so that findings and improvement recommendations are accepted and implemented by senior management.
Experience applying maritime concepts, principles, and methods to safe, efficient, economical, and environmental compliance in ship operations to make recommendations to senior leadership..
Experience in a wide range of qualitative and quantitative techniques for measuring effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of assigned programs.
Experience communicating effectively through written and oral communications sufficient to prepare and present findings and recommendations before groups including senior military (flag) officers and senior civilians.
