The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a senior Management Analyst with responsibility for supporting the military human resources program for the AFLCMC Command Staff military personnel and manpower.
Duties
Manages the Center ancillary/upgrade training programs and lead MICT/IGEMS for Command Staff
Assesses short-range and long-range military manning requirements for the AFLCMC Command Staff
Serves as Information, Industrial, and Personnel security program specialist for the AFLCMC Command Staff
Plans, organizes, and oversees Military Personnel actions as part of the AFLCMC Crisis Action Team (CAT) Operations

Qualifications

Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-11, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes experience applying/implementing HR policies, practices and processes such as research, development, planning, organizing, and recommending new and innovative HR programs; experience using organizational development and manpower and personnel systems; and managing complex appraisal systems.

FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-?grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-11 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-12 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.
NOTE: Due to the use of 120 day rosters, applicants within 120 days of completion of the TIG requirement are encouraged to apply.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Thorough knowledge of management and organizational principles and practices along with a knowledge of military human resources, to develop and implement integrated approaches and solutions to significant military human resources concerns and issues.
2. Knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to apply to issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of Directorate operations and Staff agencies.
3. Thorough knowledge of the mission, major issues, program goals and objectives, work processes, to manage Upgrade Training, other training requirements and operations of the Directorate and AFLCMC.
4. Knowledge of a broad range of security program relationships and proficiency in information, personnel, and industrial security to effectively implement and administer applicable security programs and/or coordinate with other specialized security programs.
5. Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, to achieve stated positions or to make an adequate case for a particular strategy which may or may not be readily accepted, but is best solution to achieve overall Directorate and AFLCMC goals.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
