You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT within the Submarine and Aircraft Carrier Operations Department.
Duties
You will serve as the Program Support Inventory Control Point (PSICP) designated member of the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) management team for assigned systems, equipment/platforms and provides supply expertise to assist acquisition managers.
You will participate in all phases of integrated logistics support planning throughout the lifecycle of all assigned systems and associated equipment.
You will develop and implement supportability execution plans in accordance with existing guidelines.
You will coordinate and provide guidance to other NAVSUP WSS personnel in order to effectively execute overall logistics support of assigned systems/equipment/platforms.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Logistics Management Specialist experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector coordinating and integrating actions related to the development, execution, and oversight of supply support for assigned systems and equipment's. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Participating and understanding in all phases of integrated logistics support planning throughout the life-cycle of weapon systems; 2) Determining, negotiating and finalizing supply support matters with other logistics stakeholders for weapon systems; 3) Developing and maintaining milestones and performance statistics for optimum weapon support; 4) Monitoring progress to ensure timely and quality delivery of supply support Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) products; 5) Monitoring contractor effort and visiting prime contractors, major vendors and support sites for purposes of assigning priorities to the performance of work.
