You will serve as a TECHNICAL DIRECTOR in the DIRECTOR MARITIME INFORMATION WARFARE, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (N05) Division of OPERATIONAL SUPPORT FACILITY.

Duties

You will serve as the Technical Director (TD) of Fleet Information Warfare Command Pacific (FIWCPAC). You will serve as the primary advisor to FIWCPAC on the integration of intelligence, signals intelligence, network operations, meteorology/oceanography, space, cyber, and electronic warfare. You will inform on complex and highly classified Joint and Navy planning and projects that inform and guide FIWCPAC actions throughout the Indo-Pacific. You will manage technical and day-to-day operations between all FIWCPAC directorate management functions, subordinates, battle cells, tasks, warfighters, stakeholders, program offices, industry, and coalition partners. You will facilitate the development of concepts for battlespace situational awareness and use of information, communications, and network technologies for the pursuit of a competitive decision advantage in Information Warfare (IW). You will provide technical advisement to Directors for process improvement initiatives, prevention of fraud, waste and mismanagement, safety/environmental and security requirements for assigned functions. You will demonstrate Navy core values in human resource management, property management, procurement/finance. You will serve as the primary advisor to FIWCPAC on the integration of technology on IW operations across the DON. You will provide guidance to the staff in supporting Information Warfare (IW), Counter-Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (CC5ISR) for maritime, joint, coalition, and national interests. You will lead strategic mission planning, workforce planning, policy and standards development, resource management, and planning and delivery operations.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver?s license.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing strategic planning, capital and investment planning, workforce planning, policy, goals, and standards development, resource management, and planning and execution of missions in support of Information Warfare (IW) and Counter-Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C-C5ISR).
