This position is in the Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It is being recruited under 10 U.S.C. 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system. Positions in the Cyber Excepted Service are positions necessary to carry out and support the mission of the United States Cyber Command.
It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA-JH8.
Duties
Executes planning, programming, and analysis, in development of short- and long-range acquisition plans, affecting joint force program objectives and milestones.
Develops policies, procedures, and methods required for the administrative management, control, and maintenance of assigned projects.
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates a wide range of programmatic funding, contract, schedule, and other performance data.
Coordinates with senior management, oversight, customer, and support officials in the formulation and review of acquisition plans, milestones, and schedules.
Provides staff guidance and direction to all elements engages in the development and implementation of plans and objectives to assure compliance with applicable policies and constraints.

- This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
- Drug Testing Position.
- Top Secret/ SCI security clearance required.
Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below
Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-13, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience in developing and planning in acquisition plans, funds, sources, and schedule of program objectives and milestones.

Education
There is no substitution of education for specialized experience at the GG-13 grade level.
