You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in one of the various departments one of the various departments of the NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV NEWPORT RI.
The NT-4 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-11 and GS-12.
Duties
You will be responsible for performing a wide range of budgetary, administrative, and analytical duties in support of their assigned Programs.
You will provides program support and assistance in the analysis and development of strategic planning, forecasting and estimation to support Program Management decision making.
You will ensure work is adequately and accurately planned and estimated, funding has been received and completed work is validated by the designated customer representatives to monitor customer satisfaction.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-3 (GS-9/10 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: conducting analytical studies of financial trends to develop recommendations concerning the utilization of resources.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
OR
Possession of an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.
