Duties
Assist with providing management analysis support to the Human Capital Division to include coordination involving strength management principles and manpower planning, and workforce projections.
Conducts assigned manpower reviews and analysis concerning areas such as missions (current and future), capabilities, requirements, and command and operational relationships.
Applies expert analysis applying a wide range of qualitative and quantitative analytical methods.
Collects and analyzes pertinent organizational workload data and develops statistical analysis to justify any changes and recommendations.
Utilizes automation tools to pull standard reports from source systems or create ad hoc queries for additional specific personnel reports for data analysis.
Assists with the review and analysis of current strength, gains/losses and units assignments to ensure proper manning to accomplish the Agency?s diverse missions.
Prepares written documentation which may include spreadsheets, documents, and presentations.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Specialized Experience GS-11: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting with applying human resources regulations, policies, and/or guidance to complete assigned duties; extracting data from multiple data systems; assisting with conducting research and/or analysis on a variety of workforce issues. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
