Duties

Serves as the Senior Tasking Analyst in the Army Futures Command (AFC), Operations Directorate. Manages and administers the G-3 Directorate's staff actions and suspense control system. As the Operations Directorate Senior Tasking Analyst, develops and implements policies/procedures for the management and control of tasks, staff actions/documents to/from HQDA, Office of Joint and Defense Affairs, OCLL, and U.S. Army Audit Agency. Analyzes staff action procedures for efficiency, effectiveness, and adherence to current doctrine. Coordinates with DA/AFC functional proponents and external organizations to research and resolve, if necessary, action processing issues. The Senior Tasking Analyst is responsible for providing oversight and guidance to the other tasking analysts and will serve as a program administrator and subject matter expert for the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2). Managing and assigning tasks to/from the Secretary of the Army (SA), Chief of Staff (CSA), Under Secretary of the Army (USA), Vice Chief of Staff, Army (VCSA), and the Director of the Army Staff (DAS) to AFC directorates and subordinate organization. The Senior Tasking Analyst serves as a liaison with the Executive Communications and Control (ECC) Directorate, Office of Joint and Defense Affairs, Office of the Chief of Legislative Liaison (OCLL), and U.S. Army Audit Agency.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
