The Surveillance and Weather Group provides second-level engineering support for assigned systems throughout the National Airspace System (NAS). The position is with the En Route Surveillance Team providing procurement support and oversight for assigned systems, projects, and programs.

Duties

Performs multiple, varying, and complex assignments under minimal direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. May act as a contributing specialist on large work activities or as a project manager or team leader for large projects/programs/activities.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position at the FV-I (FG/GS-13) level, by the closing date of this announcement, applicants must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-H (FG/GS 10-12) level. Specialized experience is experience that has eqipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position and that typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.Specialized Experience includes: experience with project evaluations and strategic planning efforts for an organization; developing and procurement requirements; collaborating with stakeholders on administrative operations, and experience with program management for an aviation organization or operations environment.Applicant should provide examples of Specialized Experience in their work history.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of the announcement.
