About the Position: Serves as a Human Resources Assistant/Site Security Manager (SSM) for the ID Card Section. Works under the general direction and receives instructions on changes in regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures from the Chief MPSD.

Duties

Interpret laws, rules, regulations, directives, decisions, and policies applicable to the (DEERS)/(RAPIDS) system. Maintain accountability of all ID Cards Issuance and Transactions. Prepare statistical reports and briefs on ID Card related actions/issues. Oversee the ID Card, Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS)/ Realtime Automated Personnel Identification System (RAPIDS) and the certification as a Site Security Manager (SSM)

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation and credit check.
  • Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) may be required up to 5%.
  • This position requires a typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute (WPM) based on a 5-minute sample with 3 or fewer errors.
