About the Position: This position is located at US ARMY SPECIAL OPERATIONS AVN CMD at Fort Campbell KY.

Duties

Ensure all military personnel management procedural and administrative tasks are performed in accordance with regulations. Ensure effective operation of the military programs including personnel accountability and strength reporting. Prepare personnel Statistic (PERSTAT)report using non-secure HR Automated systems. Maintain up to date status of all military HR action for assigned personnel. Perform various military HR administrative support duties. Process and review leave, Evaluation, promotions, and award actions IAW Army Regulations and unit SOP for accuracy and completeness. Use military HR management and automation programs, methods and tools to collect and input data to process actions. Perform various military HR administrative support duties. Utilize human resources database systems, software programs, and tools to enter, query, and retrieve information for analysis. Process evaluation, promotions and awards. Queries HR Database, analyze and interpret HR metric maintaining data quality. Submit by-name personnel accountability related transactions via eMILPO.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
  • TDY travel is required 5% of the time.

One year of specialized experience which includes: Performing various military human resources (HR) administrative support duties to include applying military personnel rules, procedures, and operations to provide a full range of administrative and technical military support. Reviewing Officer Records, Briefs and Enlisted Records, Briefs utilizing eMILPO and eTOPMIS database systems, Accuracy review materials to include correcting format, grammar, and punctuation; military personnel databases while maintain strength and accountability, input personnel action and prepare reports for command. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: AccountabilityClericalCustomer ServiceTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
