About the Position: Serves as Chief of Readiness Division (G-4) Logistics Directorate, U.S. Army Sustainment Command (ASC). Responsible for ASC property accountability, maintenance, and Financial Liability Investigation of Property loss programs and policy.
Duties
Supervises property accountability and maintenance management to accomplish ASC missions.
Leverage human resources by providing direct supervision to subordinate employees.
Manage policy and/or procedures for property accountability and equipment management.
Manage policy and/or procedure for maintenance management and readiness.
Provides readiness briefings on ASC property and/or maintenance management programs.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- One-year supervisory probationary period may be required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly.
- This is a Critical Acquisition Position (CAP): Acquisition Corps Membership is no longer required for Critical Acquisition Positions (CAP)). CAP selectees must execute a 3-year tenure agreement.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics Advanced Level certification within 48 months as of entrance on duty.
- Business travel required 25% of the time.

Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled such as: Providing oversight on Property Book and Maintenance Management policies; monitoring compliance inspections through Command Supply Discipline or Command Maintenance Discipline Program; improving existing processes to increase efficiency; briefing higher-level officials on logistics readiness; and managing financial investigation for property loss. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
